Biography

Rachel is a contemporary artist whose work explores the invisible frequencies that define our most intimate environments. Operating under the brand A Book of Songs, she creates large & small scale, atmospheric abstracts that function as Acoustic Visuals that aim to capture the resonance of memory, the geometry of light, and the transition from silence to sound.

With a background in 3D design and Fine Art, Rachel’s practice is an act of visual alchemy. Her paintings do not merely occupy a wall; they calibrate a room. Drawing inspiration from the monumental forms of Eduardo Chillida and the visceral landscapes of Georgia O’Keeffe, she creates statement pieces that carry both cinematic scale and deep emotional weight.

Her current series, "The Resonance of Presence," is an invitation to stillness. It is art created for the void—the quiet, expansive spaces of modern architectural interiors where a painting brings its own sound. Each work is a track in a larger volume, turning a lifetime of observation and listening into a powerful, tactile harmony.

Based in the UK, Rachel works with private collectors, film and art consultants and interior architects to create bespoke installations that transform the frequency of a space.
